Creativity and Originality

So I've been spreading the creative bug around between my friends, family and co-worker~ Whether it's making my own jewelry or scoring a nice piece of item from the thirft store and making it into something nice and functional for my home~ I love sharing ideas and getting ideas and tips from others~ But really, all great ideas come from a simple piece of item~
Which brings me to this...

We had dinner last night with my in-laws, Kathy and Jaise. Jaise told me about this new project that he started which began from a piece of wood to carving it and then Kathy suggesting to him to make it into a lamp~ I thought it was a really great idea and very unique and creative~ Something so simple and yet so different and truly special~ Definitely what my blog is about~

Here are the 3 pieces that he made so far...

This is their brand logo (letters J,K,A for their names)

This horse head has to be my favorite. They're going to mount it and then put a light in the bucket to illuminate the room~ Can't wait until it's finished~

So I told him that they have a great idea here~ And I asked them to make me a special lamp that I have always wanted but could never find~ Now he can just make it for me, I'm actually going to sketch it up and send it to him~ Told him I would start marketing his creations and see where it goes from there~
