I found an old gray cotton blazer and decided to add black cuffs with polka dots. It was pretty easy once I figured out how to use the sewing machine :) I used an old polka dot shirt that didn't fit me anymore. Cut off the ends of the sleeves and then sewed on the cuffs. Voila! It adds a bit of color to the boring gray. Next DIY project is fun with cardis! Once I find a nice pattern I will try the same thing with my cardigan!

Thrift shopped
So this snow storm that everyone panicked about turned out to be a dud. Most of the snow already melted this afternoon and all the blizzard excitement disappeared. Might as well go out and do some thrifting. So I found a bunch of spring/summery tops that I just loved!! Also wanted to show you guys this nice coral/pink coat that I bought a few weeks ago from salval (salvation army) for $15. But my total for today was $17 for all the tops, you gotta love that! On my way home, the thrift shop song came on...how appropriate :)
